Tri-Cities, Washington based life-long Visual Artist Kay Kinnick-Maes, 37, works with multiple mediums including but not limited to; watercolor, oil, acrylic, digital painting, and photography to produce unique, emotive snap shots of real dreams. Inspired by her own dreams and often the dreams of others, much of her work includes photos of nature, and natural light sources such as the sun, moon, and stars in combination with paint and ink on canvas, paper, or wood.

Many of her works aren’t just dreams, they are illustrations for books and stories that are coming out in pictures versus words with, “Train Song” naturally inspiring the most pieces. It is a journey home through space, time, and the stars. Dedicated to those who have passed, in support of those who love and miss them.
